GIFT DEED - SAMPLE FORMAT FOR BLOOD RELATION
This Gift Deed is made and executed on [Date] at [City].
BETWEEN
[Donor Name], aged about [Age] years, residing at [Address], hereinafter referred to as the "Donor";
AND
[Donee Name], aged about [Age] years, residing at [Address], hereinafter referred to as the "Donee".
WHEREAS
1. The Donor is the absolute owner and in lawful possession of the property described in the Schedule below.
2. The Donee is related to the Donor as [relationship, for example son / daughter / brother / sister].
3. Out of natural love and affection, the Donor wishes to gift the said property to the Donee without monetary consideration.
NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:
1. GIFT
The Donor hereby voluntarily transfers, conveys, and gifts the Schedule Property to the Donee absolutely and forever, together with all rights, easements, and appurtenances attached thereto.
2. ACCEPTANCE
The Donee hereby accepts the gift made by the Donor during the lifetime of the Donor and takes the property subject to applicable law.
3. POSSESSION
The Donor has this day delivered symbolic / actual possession of the Schedule Property to the Donee.
4. TITLE
The Donor declares that the property is free from all encumbrances, claims, attachments, disputes, and acquisitions except as specifically disclosed below:

5. TAXES AND OUTGOINGS
All taxes, assessments, and outgoings up to the date of execution shall be borne by the Donor, and thereafter by the Donee unless otherwise agreed.

7. REGISTRATION
The parties shall present this Gift Deed for registration before the jurisdictional Sub-Registrar and comply with stamp duty and registration requirements applicable in Maharashtra.
